How do you figure? The Veterans voting in the 2004 election went this way.

57% BUSH
41% KERRY

I see Obama getting LESS Veteran support than Kerry did.

How do I figure? McCain was a Vietnam veteran, POW, and comes from a highly distinguished military family. Despite his other faults, he has always been strong on defense and a supporter of the military. Due to this record, McCain should have at least a 2-1 advantage over Obama who has no military record whatsoever.

Bush had a weak military record and Kerry, while a Vietnam veteran, was weak on defense and a fraud. So, I understand more the Bush v. Kerry numbers.
