I would say without that five percent of Americans who constitute the wacko leftist fringe (who unfortunately greatly influence Dem elections in a negative way), the great majority of societal and economic problems we have today would be missing. Think about our recent problems. Who are basically responsible for our gas and housing problems? Dems. Who is responsible for much of the crime and national security problems? Same party.
The fact that polls show seventyfive percent of all Americans favor drilling anywhere shows how much negative power these leftist Dems exert on our country. Hopefully the oil prices will make more average Dems conclude that their party leaders despise them. But I'm not holding my breath.
The Illinois GOP is nearly extinct, and certainly NOT conservative.
The Death Wish Party. Examine the last couple-three governor's races and the last Senate race and tell me if it ain't so.
