Next month's Beijing Olympics must be a time for China to demonstrate to the world its commitment to "basic human rights," said McCain, who called on China and Tibet to engage in a "meaningful dialogue on genuine autonomy for Tibet."

Why don't the Pinkos love Mccain? Not only does he say the things they want to hear, he actually follows through on them. Even though I diagree with much of the way Mccain has acted the past eight years, he is pretty true to his word. Since most of his word is pro-socialism lately the left should love him. They certainly did in the primaries.

It may depend on the depth of the Left's real reverence for the Dalai Lama.

I haven't seen the huge rallies in his name since he condemned homosexuality and agreed that self defense, with a gun, was moral.

I have heard Progressives marveling that it was Nixon (”Yeah, I _know_! Nixon, go figure!”)who was responsible for the EPA.

Older Jews were brought up on apocryphal stories of Jews who converted to Christianity and were still forever known as “Joe, the Jew.”

To them, McCain is still a Republican. The ones who voted for McCain in the primaries may come to rue the day they were too clever by half. They were counting on stiff-necked conservatives to abandon him and give the election to their real candidate. However, he is actually acceptable to many who pride themselves on still being rational. If/when Obama steps over that yet-to-be defined imaginary line, there may be a few more.

I cannot imagine a worse outcome than Obama winning the Presidency of the United States of America.
