On the scale of uncomfortable subjects, this story is off the charts, but it's extremely important for all parents to hear. Fox 8's Suzanne Stratford has news about a Brazilian grooming trend that young girls are having done.

No thanks. My daughter is a Cosmetologist and I’m well aware what a Brazilian” is. Oddly enough, it’s the older women who request this service, in my daughter’s salon.

It’s hardly THAT urgent. Hair styles come and go, even there. Better the girls get wax then that they get tattoos.

I went into a drug store around memorial day, and right as I walked in there was large display of hair removal products for women.
I do think it’s silly for an 11 year old to do it. Once they hit an appropriate age to make personal decisions of that nature, then they can do want they want.

Waxing is expensive. Where do 11 year olds get the money? Perhaps if their allowances were enough for a candy bar and a movie ticket, it wouldn’t be happening.
