Are you really that ignorant? Or, do you just play that role here on FreeRepublic?

95.5% employment in a country of 280 to 300 Million people is considered FULL employment.

Nobody stole anyone’s job, Sparky.

Like Casey Stengel said.....”You can look it up!”

Excuse me????????

And what in my post deserved such attack?

My husband and I know the construction industry, I do know what I’m talking about.

You live in a major metro area, employment is far different there than in rural areas.

95.5% employment in a country of 280 to 300 Million people is considered FULL employment.

The unemployment rate for Hispanics (7.7 percent) increased over the month, while the rate for adult men (5.1 percent) continued to trend up. Jobless rates for adult women (4.7 percent), teenagers (18.1 percent), whites (4.9 per- cent), and blacks (9.2 percent) showed little or no change in June. The unem ployment rate for Asians was 4.5 percent, not seasonally adjusted. (See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

It depends on your perspective as far as what constitutes FULL employent. If you are black or Hispanic, it is beginning to look like a depression.

FYI: We have 304.7 million people. We have added 23 million people since 2000 or about the current population of Texas. The majority of the increase comes from immigration, legal and illegal.

I wish you could come down here and explain to two of my neighbors that the hispanics taken away business.

Explain to them that if they would just invite all of their workers to live in their basement, pack them all into a van or pickup for work, don’t pay workman’s comp and get rid of their insurance, they too could afford to undercut everyone else.

You, my friend, are the ignorant one.

These criminals came into this country willing to work at half or less than wage that everyday Americans who were doing the tradesmen work in the 80's. I know, because I was one of them.

This meant they had to uproot their lives and try to find something else to do.
