Very funny, but in all seriousness I do feel sorry for Elizabeth Edwards, suffering from a horrible disease AND an insufferable husband.
My mother has 4th stage metastatic breast cancer and the treatment is not a cakewalk. My mother has family for support, I wonder who Elizabeth Edwards has? It appears John is otherwise engaged.
Oh, they are definately holding them hostage. And I think I will be bold enough to say that the girlfriend, herself has been doing some negotiating! Trying to secure all she can for herself. How else could the enquirer know Edwards was going to be at the hotel? The BIG story is that Rielle and the Enquierer are shaking down Mr. Edwards.
If he was smart, he would just come clean to Geraldo Rivera, and take away the power from these people. His political career is over. So, just tell the truth, and apologise.
Fess up John, it is the best thing to do. You already hurt your wife. She deserves the truth, finally.

I too feel horrible for this woman. She doesn’t deserve this treatment. She seems like she has always put her husband before herself. Keeping the news that she had cancer, until after the election, to spare him.

Thanks, that's an interesting thought that hadn't occurred to me. At the moment the tape is buried somewhere in a box up in my attic, but I should dig it out and see if I can convert it to a video file on my computer and then try posting it on YouTube or elsewhere.
Of course Tony Strickland could do the same, but he has no reason to beat a dead horse; it would appear very ungracious on his part. I, on the other hand, have no such compunctions. And Tony did freely hand it out to the media, so there wouldn't be any copyright issues.
I have a lot of questions on this... Where is the IRS and the Federal Election Commission? With all this money being paid to the hussy, was it reported as income? How about the anonymous donor who was writing checks and not asking questions? Did he exceed the maximum amount for campaign contributions? It is surely illegal for the canpaign to use donated money to support a mistress.
Also, as I just knew in my gut all along, the rumor is that Hillary was behind JE dropping out of the race. She used her knowledge of his affair to “persuade” him to drop out. (see link below)

Not only that, I am convinced that she is behind this latest story as well. The Clintons never forgive or forget an enemy, and when Edwards endorsed Obama, he went to the top of the hit list. Never cross the Clintons. It’s dangerous. Somebody better give the governor of NM a heads up.
