Obama: McCain Trying to Make Voters 'Sacred' of Me

ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: While campaigning in a traditionally Republican district, Sen. Barack Obama attempted to beat back rumors about him– telling the Springfield, Missouri crowd that Republicans and Sen. McCain are trying to make voters “scared” of him because they don’t have another strategy.
“Nobody thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face. So what they are going to try to do is make you scared of me,” Obama warned, “You know he's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. You know, he doesn't look like all of those other presidents on the dollar bills.”
Obama said the only strategy McCain has is to paint him as a “risky” candidate.

The further we go into this election season, the less confident I am that you’re one of them.

Remember that press conference that the President and McCain gave, locked arm in arm on the White House lawn?
How the President said: "My fellow Americans, what the frick kind of name is Obama? Seriously!"
And then McCain said: "I was looking at the cash in my pocket and I noticed that Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and myself could all pass for identical triplets! But not Obama!"
Why didn't the press report that more widely?
And that is a quality that will endear his liberal voters: The Victim!

I saw that in the title also and tried to figure out how he is Sacred. Think the mods have to correct it.
Not McCain. McCain is going easy on him. Voters might be scared of him, but not because of McCain.
Maybe if he’d stop talking about how the voters are scared of him, they wouldn’t be.
I’ve watched the YouTube video where Obamasiah stated his plans to decimate our military. I’ve listen to him state that he plans to raise my taxes while giving away my tax dollars to countries that have failed their people and to the illegals coming here, and to people in this country too lazy to provide for their own. I’ve watched him try and become the President of the world with his recent trip abroad. Yes, he scares me. No, it has nothing to do with anything John McCain has said or done. This man should not be in the Senate, let alone elected President of this country.
The guy’s a punk. Go cry home to mommy!

You knew it would just be a matter of time before he tried to turn any criticism against him or his policies as some form of racism.
His European campaign trip flopped and most polls now show that he is actually losing support at a time when he thought he would be well above 50%. Is it any surprise now that in response to this that he is playing the race card? This man is the absolute definition of a lightweight.
