“on the bus that was headed from Edmonton to Winnipeg”
a rather unfortunate choice of words there.
(note to self: don’t sleep on the bus)
37 passengers and no one moved to assist the victim during the 50 stabbings?
i bet they were french canadians.
“There can be only one.”
The story is bullcrap writing. Government media complex type stuff.
“Go Greyhound, and leaving the beheading to Akmar”
From the dawn of time we came... Moving silently down through the centuries. Struggling to reach the time of the Gathering, when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... Until now...
No one with a gun around there?
The attacker was does appear to have been an individual hence absence of the codeword “youth”
Which is why it's conspicuously absent?
"He alleged the suspect had a "large hunting knife" and repeatedly stabbed the victim "like 50 or 60 times."
And in all that time, NO ONE attempted to help? If the perp were that concentrated on his deed - might he have not been taken down?
Interesting newsbit from Canada from 2 summers ago:
Canada Terror Suspect May Have Planned Beheadings

/sarcasm
Nothing to see here. Move along.
It is NOT terrorism.
After all, 60 stabs and a beheading was ... probably an accident.
waiting to see if those Durn Mennonites are acting up again
Religion of Pieces© says “Have a slice day”
Prayers for the victim.
How often does this happen on the Canadian Greyhound? Have there been other cases that seemed planned, or other "random" ones?
The victim and murderer were sitting next to each other, the victim was sleeping, perhaps a little drool set the murderer off?
Perhaps he leaned on the murderer?
How crowded was the bus?
Next time take the train.
“Caton described the man who attacked the passenger as about six feet tall, 200 pounds, with a bald head and wearing sunglasses. He seemed oblivious to others when the stabbing occurred, said Caton.
Caton said he was struck by how calm the man was. He just walked up to the front of the bus and dropped the head, Caton said.
Caton said the victim boarded in Edmonton, was Aboriginal in appearance, and was wearing hip-hop clothing, and appeared to be a young man around 20 years of age.
“When we saw the head, we knew he was dead,” he said. “I don’t think the guy knew him at all. I think he was really crazy ... the poor guy, he didn’t see it coming.”

It would be cool if Queen was rocking on the radio at the time.
