Barack Obama wrote his senior thesis at Columbia University on Soviet nuclear disarmament. Inquiring people have sought a copy of this thesis to no avail. Columbia says it cannot be found; Barack Obama says he lost it.
How likely is that a person so impressed with himself that he writes an autobiography just a few years later would "lose" his senior thesis? After all, a Presidential Library must be filled. And as Jim Geraghty at National Review and others have noted there are a lot of blank spots -- missing records and the like -- having to do with Barack Obama.
But one question remains. If Barack Obama devoted a year researching and writing about Soviet nuclear disarmament, how could he fail to get the facts down about the Kennedy-Khrushchev meeting in Vienna?
Maybe there are good reasons he wants to bury this thesis. Did he get it wrong there,too? Did he just coast at Columbia on his interesting background and personal charm?

Where is his thesis? In Obama’s Presidential Library, of course.
small correction to the author’s list (but he makes great points about Obambi’s curious empty record and lack of paper trail):
“Harvard College” is not the proper name - that is the undergraduate college only, within the larger university, but Obambi did not attend Harvard undergrad, he attended Occidental and then transferred to Columbia and received his degree there.
The Harvard reference in the list should only be to “Harvard Law School” which is the correct name for the law school program Obambi attended to obtain the J.D. degree.
Just in case anyone is lurking from American Thinker or can get them to correct the mistake.
I find it hard to believe that Columbia does not require a copy to be submitted to the library at the time the thesis is accepted by the department (maybe it has been deep-sixed by an Obambi cultist in the library system, but someone should find out whether Columbia normally shelves undergrad honors theses. I know for a fact that Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford do so (except for the suddenly ‘unavailable’ Chelsea Clinton thesis which would have proved her mother to be a liar about the Northern Ireland peace process).

Well, yes. In other words you can account for the thesis being missing because he wanted to hide it from public view—for whatever reason.
It was Marxist, or it was poorly written and filled with misspellings, or it got some pretty dreadful comments in the margins from his instructor, or some other reason that would show him in less than the best light.
Love it. I'm looking for some new bumper stickers. Just don't want his name on my car.

IMO, he’s far worse than merely a “moron” in an empty suit. He’s as much our enemy as Al Qaeda and has the same goals as our avowed enemies. Even his shrew shares our enemies goals.

Actually, I do have several quite good ideas for McCain commercials. (Tasteful, funny, and convincing across several demos.)
I would love to share them with John McCain’s ad firm, but I have no idea how to contact them without seeming like an uninvited crackpot.
