Part of my interview with Jim Gilchrist today concerning his recent appearance (July 30th, 2008) in San Francisco to call attention to the sanctuary city status that Mayor Gavin Newsom is presiding over. I know what you mean. I was just doing a standard follow up interview to the event......when he mentioned the chemical bomb....I thought it might be of interest.

From Jim's Blog as reported by the SF chapter.... "An angry protester broke through the police line and assaulted Tim Bueler. The protester threw a glass bottle bomb that ignited upon impact. Tim dodged the explosion and was able to defend himself against the irate insurgent, at which time the police quickly came to the rescue and arrested the counter insurgent.
