With the stories of Islamic penetration into our prisons, I'm not sure that's a fitting end for bin Laden.

Personally, I'd prefer he get the choice, during a helicopter ride over his former compound in Kandahar, jump or a bullet!

Rush mentioned this on his show today. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen anything else about it until now.

At first he thinks he has found The Falling Man’s family and it’s really sad because that family is very religious and they had a problem dealing with the feeling of suicide. (I know. What choice did he have?)

But it wasn’t their loved one. I forgot how they finally determined that.

The picture is one of a sequence. Near the end of the fall the outside shirt he had on (turns out to be a white chef’s shirt-he worked at Windows on the World) is ripped off and exposes an orange tee shirt. The restaurant owner remembers someone that it could be and that family (a brother) tells them he had an orange tee shirt that was a favorite.

During his research the searcher runs into a man who recognized his wife as a jumper from pictures. Surprisingly, he is somewhat comforted by knowing this.

I highly recommend this documentary to everyone. It isn’t done in an exploitive way.
