Bill Russell can defeat John Murtha

I glanced at your tagline and pictured the most incredibly one-sided game of one-on-one in history! :-)

The Gore thing was a huge fiasco and heads should have rolled over it.

Absolutely right and I was in the middle of it to the point of being on the grass in Tallahasse courthouse when the SCOTUS made their ruling.

But ya gotta ask yourself, why didn't heads roll? Who should have prosecuted but didn't?

I really don't blame the Democrats for not prosecuting their own, so who should have but didn't?

actually, we welcome them home almost every day at DFW airport with patriotic music, flags and crowds cheering and clapping. I even wear my 3 inch heels and a short skirt...

Good for you. And how nice of you to remind them what they have been fighting for-—your appearance must make for many smiles.

That was so messed up there’s more than enough blame to go around for everyone, the leftist FL Supreme court, Jeb Bush and Kathy Harris to start off with.

The thing that’s appalling is that it’s almost eight years later and a Sen. is trying to make some headway, those corrections should have started in Jan. of 2001.

THE US Army (Ft Richardson) here in ANchorage put up a chain link fence on the road leading to the runway at EAFB so familes have a place to put up welcome home banners etc.

See a soldier at the airport - buy him/her a beer - it’s fun and good for the economy..

Many Marines arrive late at night. But, by God, there’s John Phillips Sousa in the background whether it’s actually playing live or just in your mind : )

I think Marines work too hard to bother with parades ; )

you know,

sousa’s music is uplifting!

if i’m in a funk, i play patriotic music.

that’s one reason why the lib-socialists don’t like patriotism; it’s positive.

lib-socialists prefer to be depressed.

yes!

tell people you know at the supermarket

so that some lib-socialist listening in gets it.

i did that at ace hardware the other day when they did not have a plastic bag.

ace hardware did away with plastic bags to be enviro friendly.

At this time of the year the construction of a pier near the Las Plugas gate, is most likely the work of a Naval Construction Battalion (Sea Bees), or it could be the work of a Marine Reserve Engineer Company.

Remember some Marines use hammers to subdue the enemy and some Sailors are pretty damn good bulldozer operators.

Thanks for the clarification.

My step-dad was a Seabee in WW II. On Guadalcanal.

And, damn, I'm proud of him.

Our commanders on the ground continue to carefully express their opinions on what success we have thus far. The Iraqi political process between the central government and the province in question weights heavy in the equation. Thus far things are going according to plan because the Sunni tribes have been cooperating, some in a very big way. But things can change if the central government does not continue to bend and offer concessionary tidbits to the al Anbar tribes.

This is horible news........................for democrats. That party has put themselves in the untenable and indefensible position that any good news from Iraq is bad news for them.

But the military will soon shut down some of its larger bases, Kelly said, including Camp Fallujah.

Would it be better to t urn it over to the IRAQ army and let them decide to close it ?
