So Cal, I drove down to San Diego for work Thursday and saw the Marines are building a pier off Pendleton. Know anything about that?

Always various building going on including Iraqi villages for training.
Haven’t been up to the N. county for a while.
Am near downtown and a few miles from the Marine Corp Recruit Depot and around 15 miles S. of Marimar Marine
Air Station here, Home of the Third Air Wing.

At this time of the year the construction of a pier near the Las Plugas gate, is most likely the work of a Naval Construction Battalion (Sea Bees), or it could be the work of a Marine Reserve Engineer Company.

Remember some Marines use hammers to subdue the enemy and some Sailors are pretty damn good bulldozer operators.
