I remember you now. I believe I have asked you not to post to me. I think you just want to start something AGAIN.

I didn’t post that to you so I wasn’t asking you to do anything. You must think you are more important than you really are to think I was asking you to do something.

So, once again, please do not post to me. You are annoying and I am not interested in trying to discuss anything with you.

I will avoid you as well.

I apologize for posting to you. I don’t check my list. When I see something stupid, I just naturally react.

I'm no particular fan of Tyson Foods or anybody else that played ball with the KlintonKrimeKlan, however, in this case, mebbe Tyson is getting a bit of a bum rap.  This is actually more of a union problem than than a Tyson problem.  The Muzzies control the union 700-500 (approximately) and, apparently, were able to get the holiday thing into their contract.

What's Tyson supposed to do, close the plant?

(BTW, nice first post, radu...)

There’s a bit of a discrepancy in the number of Muzzies at this Tyson plant. The union says there are 700 but the head of Tyson’s media relations says there are only 250. If he is correct, that changes the balance quite a bit.

The issue here, at least in my mind and apparently many others’, is that they’re dumping a long-standing American holiday for a minority’s religious holiday. And this minority has no good will towards America and what we stand for.

They are whittling away at our rights and our customs, and too many in this country don’t seem to see the danger.

And thanks. I’ve seen too many get flamed for flubbing up a first post; hence the disclaimer in case I flubbed up. It’s just too durned hot this weekend to have to don a flame-retardant suit. LOL!

You're definitely right about that.

FWIW, an earlier poster wrote that there are 250 Somalis but 700 muzzies total at Tyson's plant.

Keep up the good work and post away!

The math has always been a bit fuzzy as to how many are there. It would be nice to run into someone who works there who could help clarify it a bit. I get more curious as time goes on.
So far, I haven't run into anyone.

In all honesty, I can't figure out who the other 450 muzzies could be. Shelbyville is a small town and I've not heard anyone say anything about other immigrants being there (other than the Mexicans who showed up several years ago).
Unless the 450 extras are commuting from Nashville.

I’d say a boycott is getting well underway. Maybe this is the wake up call Americans need to start putting an end to this madness. Then again, maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.

I would say that it was completely wishful thinking on your part.

The American people speak with their wallets, and they didn't care when Wal-Mart started pushing as much made-in-China crap as they could, and they didn't care when Wal-Mart started telling American manufacturers that they needed to make their products overseas so that they could do it for cheaper (thereby putting American workers out of a job).

The fact is, people will continue to buy Tyson if it's the cheapest, and they don't care what goes on behind the scenes.
