The MSM are still getting killed on the story of John Edwards and his relationship to racy blonde Rielle Hunter - or should I say his relationship to Hunter's love child?

There are a few interesting wrinkles. The first concerns pack journalism. Mondoreb reports:
"Because of those 'vigorous denials from campaign staffers,' not one reporter posed the question to Edwards that DBKP kept repeating, 'Do you deny that you've been in telephone contact with Rielle Hunter since she found out she was pregnant?' Did the reporters on the Edwards' campaign bus perhaps assign a larger weight to the campaign staff's denials than their readers would have?"
It's tough to be the only journalist in the crowd who will ask a really sensitive question. Believe me, I've been in that spot dozens of times. Imagine being the guy at a press conference by Mumia Abu-Jamal's lawyers asking why that convicted cop-killer has never denied killing the cop. Or imagine asking Bob Torricelli why he lied about the facts in that CIA leak case.
I did both of the above, and believe me I got some nasty looks. Sometimes I've even had to tell my fellow journalists to shut up and let me ask my question. If the pack's heading east, they snarl at the dog who heads west.

I’m not so sure. Edwards is so 2004’s news that he is barely worth mentioning. He is as finished politically as Gary Hart.
I’ve read that Edwards was on Obamas short list for VP. That not “stick a fork in him” news. But Rielle Hunter is.
The MSM and it’s leftists can try to muzzle the story and it is having some effect...however the alleged affair just has too much juice to stay hidden....Silky Pony will have to come clean sooner or later....the truth will come out!

Was is the operative word. Obama has a reputation of throwing anyone who might drag him down under the bus. The back tires ought to be reaching Edwards any time now.
Between the fact Edwards is a Dem, and the fact the MSM would have to attribute The Enquirer and Fox News, this story hasn’t got legs yet. And I am betting the hotel employees are now under a gag order.
I bet they hardly have to walk to get that one in.
Oh yeah. He’s done now. I thought he was over in 2004 too until I heard about Obama looking him over. The Rielle Hunter story killed his political outlook. He can sit in his mansion and wonder what might have been but for a little self-control.

This looks like one of Bill clintons bimbos. Could picture Edwards skipping through a trailor park dragging a twenty dollar bill and attracting this beaut.
