Yes, he was. I think he was the 2nd or 3rd one up at the mic at the presser.

Cox is at the SEC but is from the House. I would love to see a debate between him and ANY Democrat. Really high voltage intellect.

“I have to say his stances are good. A good conservative.”

I agree but I don’t think McCain needs a Governor.

This guy would send chills through Obama’s camp. He will cause some cracks in the dems special interest groups.

“Cantor is too inexperienced.”

Can you picture Obama saying this?

Geeze....don’t pick someone from the peanut gallery...regardless of how young or conservative he might be.Pick someone with “gravitas”.Romney would be good.Various Governors and Senators would also be good.

Are they still really vetting or is this just a diversion or trick? I’m still praying for Mitt but then you already knew that. ;)

I agree that Cantor is a dud. Only good for a diversion. Hopefully McCain will wait for Boma to make his pick and then McCain reacts tactically and strategically.

McCain is the last of the old line Republicans. I want to see these young turks duking it out. We all benefit.

Why not Hillary then? Her proven track record is more ‘conservative’ than Romney’s since her socialist health care plan didn’t actually pass. His did.

Now that was funny, but prepare for shots from the irony and humor challenged.

(I don't think those who reject Cantor because some of his very fine votes were NOT implemented will get it. I don't think they know Republicans are in the minority right now.)

Do you get the feeling that they are just throwing names out there to see the public’s reaction?

Oh yeah, Romney didn’t advocate and pass socialized medicine in MA. He didn’t appoint liberal judges, pander to the gay lobby, and he surely didn’t show strong support for abortion. It’s all Mormon hate. Suuuuuure.

Everyone’s against Romney because he’s a Mormon. Couldn’t have anything to do with him being a liberal. Naah. Never...
