No, September and October are the months to take Obama down. If he crashes badly at the polls before the convention, the super-delegates will just pick Hillary
Once he is the official ballot nominee, it's too late to switch him out (or perhaps not, this is the Dems we're talking about)

No, September and October are the months to take Obama down. If he crashes badly at the polls before the convention, the super-delegates will just pick Hillary And Hillary can not win without the black vote. If the dems dump Obama the black vote will not be there.

They know that if they take the nomination away from him after he's won it fair and square, the black vote will bolt, condemning the Donk Party to permanent minority status.

It would be 1968 all over again. The Democrats would scare the pants off the so-called moderates and drive them straight to the McCain camp. Having Hillary back in the game during the convention would be the best possible thing that might happen this month.
