As we all know, much more blatantly antisemitic posts than the "Jewish lobby" have appeared on my.barackobama.com . Generally, the Obama campaign moderators have either taken a long time to remove such offensive posts - in response to complaints from outside sources - or have not removed them at all.
Anti-semites seem to be attracted to Obama's campaign like scavangers to a carcass.

I bet McCain gets well over 30%

That table is from a book edited by the head of the
National Jewish Democratic Council and overstates the 'Rat percentage by several points as compared to studies done by other sources.
I'll go out on a limb right now and predict that Obama will not get more than 60% of the Jewish vote in November. According to one poll I've seen he is running in the 50s, which likely occasioned his recent trip to Israel, which, BTW, was hardly an overwhelming success.

I remember seeing stuff on TV as a child that showed people being mean to someone because they were Jewish and I just was thinking, Whats the problem?. In my world, everyone just went to the church their parents took them to.If you read "Hitler's Willing Executioners," you'll have a much better understanding of the sociological and theological underpinning and recent history of the issue.

I will check out that book. I have never understood the hatred for Jewish people except my mother’s explanation of “God said it would be so”.

Anyone remember how the thug Obama cornered Lieberman in an aggressive way on the Senate floor?

Irrespective of where the stats come from, equally significant is the pre-92 experience.
1976--Ford (R) 27-- Carter (D) 71
Having overcome concerns over antisemitism in the 1976 campaign, Carter is perceived as overtly anti-Israel. He drops from 71% of the Jewish vote to 45%
1980-Reagan (R) 39--Carter (D) 45--Anderson (I) 14
1984-Reagan (R) 31--Mondale (D) 67
1988-ush (R) 35--Dukakis (D) 64
George Bush capitalizes on the mid 30s percentages of the Jewish vote with a Secretary of State who tells those mid 30s to Go *uck themselves they don't vote for us anyway and by presenting Pat Buchanan as the moral voice of the Republican Party. Guess what?
1992--Bush (R) 11--Clinton (D) 80--Perot (I) 9
And yes, the GOP is still struggling back from that.
And IMO it's not because Jews are stupid, rather that beyond the 50% or so who are committed dems, the independents are sensitive to hostility.

Anti-semites seem to be attracted to Obama's campaign like scavangers to a carcass. But it will never be reported in the mainstream press.

...the independents are sensitive to hostility. If that is so, then they should be going against a black radical with Islamist friends and a Moslem background. Can a major party candidate for POTUS be any more obviously hostile to Jewish interests than "Osama" Obama?
