Even though they have killed more American citizens post WWII than any other country. Either coming over the hills in Korea, or aiding, supplying and supporting the NVA in Vietnam.
1980’s communism is an evil empire, 2000’s communism is good for business.
I have some opinions on this topic but am going to keep shut as pro-chicom cheer leading and propaganda seems to be the “in” thing.
“1980s communism is an evil empire, 2000s communism is good for business.”
and therein lies the problem.
cease business with communist China and you might well have a revolution among American buyers who are growing China and their military on a daily basis. Don’t look at the WH, look at your own purchases.
But many here will support pro-China relations because theres a free market, donch know?
And that trumps everything to these people, even American citizens and soldiers slaughtered.
As another poster pointed out, some make profits off Red China, and little else matters.
Profits, regardless of consequences is all that matters.
I guess it depends on what time frame you choose to focus on. If you take the 20th century as a whole, more Americans actually died at the hands of Germans. Either way, both are in the past. Which to be more angry at then becomes a matter of choice.
