“OK maybe I’m just dumb, but will someone tell me what the leaning tower and the Washington Monument has to do with racism???????????????????????????????????????”
You have to watch the clip. It’s a reach in the best tradition of Jesse Jackson, or Al Sharpton.
Here’s how the very twisted Herbert put it together:
Harold Ford was targeted with an ad from the GOP featuring a white girl whispering “call me”. That ad had nothing to do with Ford fooling around, and everything to do with a white girl and a black man.
So, Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton are white, and featured in the beginning of the spot. Next are shown two shots of Obama near the victory tower. Phallic symbols, Hebert reasoned. So the spot had nothing to do with Obama being famous for being famous, and everything to do with playing on Americans aversion to interracial sex.
Breathtakingly stupid.

And I thought racism was hating someone because of the color of the skin or not hiring someone because of the color of the skin or denying a loan because of the color of the skin and so forth and so on. blah, blah, blah.
Now I have to worry about symbols. Hey harold what about this symbol. Oh I forgot you and the rest of you race baiting pigs can't see the middle finger on my right hand and my left hand.
I know that was childish but I am so tried of this s**t.
Get a life!!

This guy must have you-know-what on the brain. However, it didn't really matter for the sake of his insane argument that he mislabeled the Victory Column in Berlin, calling it instead the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Leaning Tower of Pisa
Berlin Victory Column
