The Westboro folks are as sick as the demon-possessed man who hacked Tim McLean to death on that bus.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Wish Westboro Clan had the gonads to show up at Sturgis.
Vets his age could put some ass whoopin on him and his pack of cultists.
Church, my ass. The sorriest f***s who ever lived.
That no one has punched his worthless lights in is a credit to the restraint of some very fine folks.
That church is not ‘Fundamentalists’. Mentalist more like it.
Like Phelps and his clan of wing nuts could afford to drive all the way to Canada.
Not only that, most of them probably couldn't get across the border with their criminal records.
And last but not least, Canadian laws are a little different. They wouldn't be allowed to protest and disrupt a funeral. It's not a public event, and funeral homes are private property. They would never be able to get a permit, and last but not least, They'd probably get the snot beat out of them by very angry Canadian youths.
There is little dispute in this country that this is the sorriest excuse for a family to pollute a civilized nation since the Sawney Bean clan. (The Beans, 16th century Scottish bandits and cannibals, were eventually surrounded in their cave hide-out and killed by a posse).
They really aren’t “fundamentalists” — anyone think the MSM would have clued in by now.
The WBC are the filthiest pieces of subhuman excrement since the Nazis to disgrace the earth with their presence. I would offer two months salary as seed money for a legal defense fund for anybody who ends the pollution that is their existence.
Ping your list. Hopefully some ballsy Canucks will dispense some much-needed justice to these douchebags, or at least drown them out in a counter-protest. Or maybe we can get Kanawa to disembowel them alive and use their remains as bear-bait.
Freepers hate Phelps.
DUmmies hate Phelps.
You have to be a special kind of scum, they don’t even hate terrorists.
I know they are relying on freedom of religion and on the right to free speech, but there must be some laws they are breaking concerning the rights of the mourners they are tormenting.
It's simply disgusting.

A controversial U.S. religious group claims it held a brief rally a few streets away from the funeral of Tim McLean Jr. on Saturday, where hundreds stood guard to prevent the group from getting close.
Shirley Phelps-Roper, spokeswoman for Westboro Baptist Church and daughter of pastor Fred Phelps, said one adult and six female youths held a brief protest at Sturgeon Road and Portage Avenue from about 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“It was a good, safe distance away,” said Phelps-Roper.
Farther west, dozens of police officers stood watch near the Westwood Community Church, where McLean Jr.’s funeral was held while a crowd of hundreds of citizens vowed to form a human chain to block Westboro members from getting near the site.
The funeral started at 4 p.m. but people gathered outside hours earlier.
A posting on a Facebook site dedicated to McLean Jr. expressed gratitude for citizens and police for their support at the funeral.
“We would like to thank everyone for your love and support (for) coming out to the church and lining up along the street,” it read.
Phelps-Roper said protesters did not display their signs and chose to picket away from the church because the Canadian government had made “lawless pronouncements” about arresting Westboro members.
Earlier last week, NDP MP Pat Martin (Winnipeg Centre) urged Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day and Immigration Minister Diane Finley to block the church’s passage into Canada.
Phelps-Roper said Westboro members still managed to slip into Canada.
The Topeka, Kan., fundamentalist church, deemed a hate group by some U.S. organizations, had earlier announced plans to picket at the funeral. The church had earlier claimed that McLean Jr.’s horrific slaying was God’s punishment of Canada for its liberal policies.
Phelps-Roper said church members left Canada shortly after the protest Saturday.
Winnipeg police said they did not receive any reports about a Westboro protest taking place.
