The John McCain who, with George Soros’ money, gutted the First Amendment and tried to shut down grassroots activism, blocked pro-life, pro-family, legislation constantly, led the Gang of Fourteen, voted to give hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood, supported the destruction of babies at the embryonic stage, and the use of their dead bodies for experimentation after they were killed by the abortionists, and headlined the effort to give citizenship to tens of millions of foreign nationals who have invaded our country.

And, oh yeah...The John McCain who has earned an “F-” from Gun Owners of America.

I'm fairly sure that at one time or another I was aligned with and supported by Soros money. I think that makes me a Soros operative.

It was John McCain who went after the imbalance and corruption in the political system that was so endemic in both the Republican and Democratic parties that the Supreme Court held that there was a public policy interest in restricting large organizations from spending and advertising close to an election. That includes labor unions.

The McCain who has been one of the most stalwart defenders of life and has consistantly voted against funding for Planned Parenthood earning their lowest rating for a legislator. Stem cell research has never resulted in one less baby born or one more baby killed. The John McCain who sought an equitable solution to an existing problem of Mexican migration. The John McCain who voted against the Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons ban and is entirely acceptable to the NRA.

Did he fund your efforts to gut the First Amendment and keep your top political operatives paid? If so, you should be ashamed.

It was John McCain who went after the imbalance and corruption in the political system that was so endemic in both the Republican and Democratic parties that the Supreme Court held that there was a public policy interest in restricting large organizations from spending and advertising close to an election. That includes labor unions.

There's so much wrong with that paragraph I hardly know where to start. So, suffice it to say that you're not going to fool any real conservative with such drivel.

The McCain who has been one of the most stalwart defenders of life

LOL...

I guess you missed the fact that McCain has consistently teamed up with other liberals in both parties to block pro-life, pro-family legislation in the Senate. Too "divisive" don't'ya know. The guy agrees with Gerald R. Ford and Ron Paul on abortion, and his claim that states' rights trumps the unalienable right to life eviserates the Reagan pro-life platform.

and has consistantly voted against funding for Planned Parenthood earning their lowest rating for a legislator.

Except when he hasn't.

Stem cell research has never resulted in one less baby born or one more baby killed.

You might want to explain such a mindless claim. Good luck.

The John McCain who sought an equitable solution to an existing problem of Mexican migration.

Please explain how it is "equitable" to grant tens of millions of illegal invaders one of the most precious things on earth - American citizenship - as a reward for their lawbreaking.

The John McCain who voted against the Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons ban and is entirely acceptable to the NRA.

The same one who teamed up with his good buddy Joe Lieberman to outlaw gun shows? Nothing new for the NRA. They endorse Democrats all the time.

1995-1998  Senator McCain supported the interests of the Planned Parenthood 0 percent in 1995-1998.

1996-2003  Senator McCain supported the interests of the Planned Parenthood 0 percent in 1996-2003.

1999  Senator McCain supported the interests of the Planned Parenthood 0 percent in 1999.

2001  Senator McCain supported the interests of the Planned Parenthood 0 percent in 2001.

2006  Senator McCain supported the interests of the Planned Parenthood 0 percent in 2006

Do you have evidence to contradict this?

McCain thinks states should be able to allow baby-killing if they want to. Calls it “federalism.”

McCain voted hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood in the Title X bill.

McCain supports the destruction of humans who are at the embryonic stage for the purposes of “scientific” experimentation.

McCain has even voted for the use of the bodies of aborted babies for said “experiments.”

McCain has consistently joined with his fellow liberals in the Senate to block pro-life legislation.

Do you “have evidence to contradict this”?

Overturning Roe vs. Wade would return abortion to the states.

McCain voted to kill Title X and has consistently voted to strip abortion funding from it.

Did he vote agin it before he voted for it, or the other way around? One of the two.

According to the Reagan pro-life platform, overturning Roe is not nearly enough. Respect for unborn persons under the protection of the Fourteenth Amendment must be enforced.

The nomination of John McCain guts the Reagan platform.

This is reason number one that I’m no longer a Republican.

In case you missed it, that “yea” vote by McCain gave about $300 million dollars, hard-earned taxpayer dollars, to the ghouls at Planned Parenthood.

McCain can change his story, and has many times, but he can’t change the facts about his record.

And neither can you.

Very good. Might as well see what those on mine think too.

I would ask everyone to examine this exchange carefully.

Conservatives are being lied to and deceived shamelessly.

Does that make anyone else as mad as it makes me?

I would like the "Family Ad" to feature a family destroyed (there are thousands of them) by an illegal alien drunk drive, or a murderer and rapist, who got into our country due to lax borders and hopes of amnistia, all things Scarface and that other La Raza sycophant Bozo running are dangling in front of millions of invaders as we speak.

This ad would talk about the "family values" I think are important. That of actually PROTECTING families. Sheesh. This RINO stuff is getting to be too much.

Back a few years the Republican hacks justified their left-of-center candidates by telling us that it was better to go off the cliff at thirty miles an hour than it was to go over it at sixty.

Doesn’t work any more because principled conservatives know that John McCain is the cliff.

3010 was the funding bill for Labor, Education and HHS. Only two Republicans voted against it and they voted no because of Education provisions. Funding for abortions had been stripped using the standard language used since 1973.

The “standard language” says no money for abortions, but still gives the money to Planned Parenthood, with which they pay their mortgages, their payroll, their light bills and everything else.

http://www.nrlc.org/news/2004/NRL03/planned_parenthood.htm

Statistics for 2002 show that Planned Parenthood is far more committed to abortion than to parenthood. Planned Parenthood did see 15,860 prenatal clients in 2002, but this is very small when set against the more than 200,000 abortions. Put another way, only 6.5% of PPFA’s clients receiving prenatal care. The remaining 93.5% were aborted.

The record with adoption services is even worse. Planned Parenthood lists no adoption services being performed in house, but says it provided 1,963 adoption referrals in 2002. To put things in perspective, that translates into nearly 116 abortions at Planned Parenthood clinics for every adoption referral.

Your Tax Dollars at Work: Where the Money Comes From

Despite what PPFA President Gloria Feldt called a “tough year,” Planned Parenthood reported $766.6 million in total revenues for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.

Of that total, $288.2 million (about 36%) came from “Clinic Income.” The proportion that came from abortion is hard to determine. Planned Parenthood clinics advertise and perform different types of abortions at different stages, with later abortions and certain kinds of procedures costing more.

But if one took the figure of $372 given elsewhere by AGI as the going rate for a standard, first-trimester suction curettage abortion and assumed all abortions reported at PPFA clinics were that type, Planned Parenthood would have taken in at least $84.5 million of its “Clinic Income” for abortion alone. Undoubtedly, the real figure is higher.

At $254.4 million, taxpayer dollars in the form of “Government Grants and Contracts” accounted for about a third of Planned Parenthood’s income. While federal money comes with restrictions prohibiting its use for abortion (some state money does not), every dollar Planned Parenthood receives from the government frees up other funds for the performance and promotion of abortion. Planned Parenthood fights to keep that revenue stream flowing.

The annual report brags, “PPFA helped achieve a funding increase of $10 million, for a total of $273 million, for Title X, America’s family planning program, despite anti-family planning efforts to cripple the program.”
