Because this one is about trashy behavior by a former US Senator who has twice run for President using public money, and is still angling to be Vice President or hold a Cabinet Post(Attorney General) in the next democrat administartion.

I don’t know. This isn’t a story- —yet. It may never be. Besides, whenever my husband visits a friend with a baby he holds it- does that make him the baby’s father? So far, this doesn’t pass the smell test.
The NE may have been right sometimes- but they are wrong more often than not ( Bushes divorcing- W back on the bottle- the condi affair) just remember that. You can’t believe them when it fits your political views and think they lie when they go after your own.
I hope I will be allowed to say something here about a concurrent tragedy happening.
John Edwards’ wife who has incurable cancer after battling the same monster earlier when he was campaigning: which is tough enough for someone who is in top shape, Edwards’ existing children of the marriage who are faced with the loss of their mother in the future and now this story surfacing. Talk about fear and abandonment and a lovely seemingly comfortable and happy family disintegrating in a few short moments.
It’s heartbreak all around. While I understand things like this happen in our lives, and some politicians soar above reality like they are gifted for more than regular people and deserve to cross boundaries of normal behavior, it just seems to me to be a sad and tawdry bit of public
gossip which we could all do without right now.
I think the American people have better and bigger things to do. Perhaps not John Edwards’ nor the Trash News - but we regular people who get on with it and pay the bills for the idiots of this world who can’t handle celebrity.
Perhaps send a kind thought in your heart to that family and the new child and the sadness which surrounds everyone.
Did you notice that noone else is covering this? It turns out Silky Pony still wants to be Attorney General in an Obama administration (if it gets that far) or some other high profile position, and a slimy hypocrite like that ought to be shamed into obscurity instead. .. That "Trashy Magazine" was the first magazine to reveal the Lewinski Scandal and was the magazine that revealed the hypocrisy of Jesse Jackson's love child scandal that he was covering up while "counselling bill clinton..

Because John Edwards made a living out of suing legitimate businesses and counting on jackpot justice to make himself a very wealthy man. He then uses said wealth to attain political power, which allows him consulting jobs for hedge funds (more wealth)...then says he wants to work for the little guy (puh-lease)...then starts college fund for underpriviledged (way to go!)...then stops fund after second bid for president falls short (can you say a-hole?)...oh, and Mr. “My-Cancer-Stricken-Wife-Wants-Me-To-Run-For-The-Good-of-The-Country-because-I-am-such-a-great- husband” always seemed a little phony, no?
You get the idea....

Mr. Edwards with his wife ran for the presidency of this country.
He went before us all and told the heart wrenching story of how his wife, the mother of his children had cancer but they were going to continue this campaign because of what they had to offer for our country.
At this same time that he was jerking us all around he was creating this child with this whore.
It goes to the merit of trust. Do you want to know what these folks are truly like as we now are finding out about Mr. Edwards or maybe find out after they are elected that say maybe they are a wretched turd.
I was shocked when I first heard of this story. I was certain Mr. Edwards undoing would come about by a 13 or 14 year old boy.
