He has NLP triggers in most of his pre-prepared speeches. I've seen this mentioned on other threads. Can either of you explain briefly what to look for in his speeches?

The key thing to look for with Obama is ‘anchoring’, these are deliberate pauses, motions, or things like hitting a podium when he wants a point to stick. Hey may say something like ‘McCain isn't a racist’, but he will make nonverbal queues on the words McCain and Racist to make those two words stick with his audience.

I forgot to mention that one of Obama’s speechwriters is Jon Favreau. In a New York Times article, “What Would Obama Say”-
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/20/fashion/20speechwriter.html, Favreau reveals that they use a variety of auditory tricks to appeal to the listener and “make (what Obama is saying) the client say your (speechwriter) brilliant words while somehow managing to make it sound as though they issued straight from their own soul.”
