He’s not very good, either. He’s pro-choice as the pro-death people like to call themselves.

Exactly even if he was a good choice he’d never win a Presidency on his own. McCain needs someone who can boost and defend him without overshadowing him. Cantor would be perfect.
Personally I’ve been thinking it might be a good idea for him to choose his old friend Fred though nobody in the media is mentioning him. A couple old cowboys riding out for a last battle has something to it. It would be a safe pick and a pick that the party insiders would hate but I think the rank and file could rally around. It certainly wouldn’t hurt him. He needs someone who knows him and he is comfortable with and brings out the best in him. His Presidential run would’ve been over without him.
