Missing Toddler's Mother Refuses Jail Visit With Brother, Lake Search Planned

The imprisoned mother of a missing Florida toddler refused a jail visit with her brother Friday, as diving teams planned a training exercise searching a lake near the home of the little girl's grandparents.

Casey Marie Anthony, 22, wouldn't see her brother Lee Anthony Friday morning when he came for a scheduled 9 a.m. visit, MyFOXOrlando.com reported.

(It's been rescheduled for 9 am Tuesday morning, August 12.)

...

And, according to the warrant, Casey led police to three different locations she said the baby sitter who has Caylee could be.

Anthony told detectives that a woman named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez had been Caylee's baby sitter for the past two years and told them where her apartment was. But when police went to the apartment she said belonged to the alleged baby sitter, they learned it had been vacant for almost five months.

Since then, police have spoke to a woman by that name, but that Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez did not recognize photos of Caylee or her mother. Police said that particular name is common and believe it could be a coincidence.

Detectives interviewed the woman twice, and she dispelled any concerns about her potential involvement in the case, Padilla said.

Cindy Anthony told reporters there are nine other people in the area with the same name, and that this specific woman is not the correct one.

Detectives have told FOX News that they are looking into the possibility that Casey Anthony impersonated the baby sitter who she says took Caylee. She may have signed the sitter's name during a visit to an apartment complex and written in a visit date within the time frame of the child's disappearance.

Also in the warrant, investigators write that Casey led them on a ride to three different locations she said babysitter Zenaida could be located. The first - a senior's only facility on 301 North Hillside drive.

The second location - The Sawgrass Apartments on South Conway Road. At this location, Casey told police that was the location she had left Caylee on June 9.

A manager of the Sawgrass Apartments confirms a Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez did take a tour of the complex, but no employees at the apartment could recognize any compiled photos of women with that name, or any photo of Casey or Caylee.

Last, Casey takes detectives to the Crossings at Conway to a townhome community near Michigan Avenue and South Conway Road. Here, Casey tells investigators that this is where Zenaida's mother allegedly owned a condominium and where she dropped Caylee off several times between mid 2006 to early 2007.

When police drive through the community, Casey told police she could not remember the exact house because she "stopped paying attention to it since she came so many times."

The search warrant also reveals that investigators are searching for DNA evidence.

In the warrant, there is a long list of clothing items taken from Casey’s closet, proof investigators have been and continue to collect evidence for DNA samples.

The warrant also reveals that on July 21, with another search warrant, investigators took both skin and hair samples from Casey while she was behind bars at the Orange County Jail.

Missing Toddler's Mother Refuses Jail Visit With Brother

Is it possible that she's finally run out of lies to tell her brother, her mother, her father, the world? Nah.

BTW

Excerpt:

Meanwhile, a lawyer for Jesus Ortiz, a man who may be the late father of the missing child, told FOX News that Casey Anthony and Ortiz went to high school together, and that the young man’s family is shocked by the news that their son may be the father. Ortiz died in a car accident about a year ago.

“The family has never heard of her,” the lawyer, Bryan Crews said, adding, “Had he been the father of the child, they certainly would have known.”

The family has said Casey Anthony fears that Caylee’s life is in danger.

It boggles the mind that she thinks she’s going ot lie her way out of this and at the same time LOOK LIKE A HERO!

The other night, ole Grandma stated that when people know what really happened they will feel bad and think of her daughter as “Mother of the year”!

There comes a point where you back off defending the undefendable and apply pressure to TELL THE TRUTH.

HELL NO!

Poor choice of words. Accept my apology.

She’s probably got nearly every social disease out there.

Thanks but I’ll pass forever on a lying whore who most likely killed her child. Her bod isn’t “hot” either. She’s not attractive either - definitely not my type. Too much mileage.

Have not really followed this case, but this is a smart move at this time. Talking to her brother while the cops are recording her conversation cannot help her.

From what little I know, I would suspect her; but it is still a smart move to keep your mouth shut.

Wifey and I have made an assumtion that if she ever gets out of jail, she'll make a few bucks going the Hustler route......and we'd also bet the big bucks that she's sporting a tramp stamp.

I am shocked this has gone on this long-altho family starting to crack up so maybe one of them will come to senses and talk-this woman is pure evil and was a rotten mom. To think of all the names she just threw out there and drub in like the Gonzales woman who now says she can’t get a job people think she is a kidnapper! What a little bitch for ruining people’s names-and the young man who went to high school with her died in a car crash and she names him as father! Lovely! Her parents should be ashamed of her and demand of her she tell the truth not protect her like they have been!

Grandma is particularly nutty. She talks endlessly and says absolutely nothing. If she and hubby were so concerned about this adorable little girl how come they weren’t suspicious a whole lot sooner? How long did they go without seeing Caylee? My 3 grandsons live just as few miles away and I make it a point to see them on a regular basis.

Me too! She is an absolute demon. I seriously feel like the Angry Grandma Cindy is helping cover it up somehow - at the very least she’s been tolerant of her daughter’s lies and hasn’t helped the situation.

_____

There might have been a day when you could infer bad things into a woman with tatoos, but that day is loooooonnnnggg past.

In fact, I’d wager that 99.9 percent of women with a ‘tramp stamp’ have never had their child go missing for 30 days without reporting it.

The imprisoned mother of a missing Florida toddler will head back to court to ask again for a reduction of her $500,000 bond, FOX News has learned.

Casey Anthony is jailed on charges related to the investigation into her 2-year-old daughter Caylee’s disappearance. She has been named a “person of interest” in the case.

Being that Grandpa is either a retired or ex homicide cop is there any chance that the authorities could intentionally be going easy on the family?
