RIP; I had read he was in serious condition the other day...
I remember him in “Bad Santa” and “Mr 3000”

We always watched The Bernie Mac show...it was like an old fashioned sitcom...with a moral at the end and everything. RIP, Mr. Mac...WAY WAY WAY too young to die.

So sad and at a relatively young age.

In spite of having a few rough edges himself, he tried to promote basic decency in his television show. And he did it in a hilarious way.
Thank you, and RIP Mr. Mac

Wow, so sorry to hear this. RIP, Bernie.

My family and I used to watch his show every week. Wholesome and funny is often a difficult combination to pull off, but Bernie did it very well.
Rest in peace, Bernie.

Pneumonia can go nuclear in hours on you. It's spinning a very large roulette wheel if you have it, but every now and then, your physical stars can align and you are dead.
Pre antibiotic days, pneumonia was a french kiss date with death that could take anyone.
Don't fool around with it.
Also, I suspect that the tissue damage to lung cells caused by the bacteria increases your chances for lung cancer.

So sad...
I thought he was really good in the Ocean’s movies.

I remember when Chris Farley died. You felt almost like he was a friend, same goes for Mac. Too bad. God bless that guy.

This is so unexpected. Always liked him and his show. I just watched an episode last night after a 2 year break from cable TV. The last thing I watched was him in some hilarious life situation, staring with his “Hey America”...and now he’s gone.
Thanks for the laughs, Bernie.
