My original BC is taped into a baby book somewhere in my mom's basement for the past 50+ years. I shudder to think what condition it is in. I have managed to get by with certified copies from the town I was born in.
Mine is two feet away from me in my personal files.
One would think that someone running for president wouldn’t have any problems providing theirs especially since they will be the first Hawaiian running for the office.
Oddly enough no one else in Hawaii has come forward with proof that they were there or were even a part of the event.
Even the Hawaiian Governments silence on this issue seems protracted.
I doubt very much that is your original BC. Back in those days the hospitals issued Certificates of Birth. I have those for my children with their little foot print and all, but they are not official. You have to get a Certified Copy of the original which would be on file at the State records dept where you were born.
Some of the first hints about the COLB, were the lack of a raised seal, the blocked out certificate #, and the lack of fold marks.
Mailing it in a FedEx mailer could explain the lack of fold marks, but how can you explain the rest?
Obama knows his COLB is causing a problem for him, but he won't simply put it to rest. Why not?
Even Slick Willy couldn't have pulled off this kind of scandal. Even he, would just produce the real Birth Certificate, and moved on...unless he had something to hide.
