He regularly called himself an "African-American". That tells you where his heart is. Hyphenated-American hold an allegiance to another country.

Hyphenated-Americans are for those immigrants who are in their first generation of tenure here in America and haven't yet become true Americans. If and when they become true Americans they will find that they have no need to continue to tie themselves, via hyphenation, to their past national origins and ancestry.

Hyphenation raises the specter of nationalistic allegiance to a country OTHER THAN America. To most Americans that possibility is repugnant and traitorous. As for those of us who prefer to remain just 'plain' Americans, we do so because we know that we already possess the most valued status symbol in the world, that of being an American citizen, desired by many and consider to be the pinnacle of national identity! Actually we are quite 'smug' and proud about that fact. Why would we ever want to change and become something less?

The article in this thread says he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. I've always heard that only the top 10% of students in a law school qualify to be on the law review.

He has never explicitly renounced his Kenyan Citizenship and is therefore a Dual Citizen...

According to the Kenyan Constitution, when he turned 21 Obama would have had to renounce his American citizenship and if he did not then his Kenyan citizenship was voided.

Incorrect. Article II of the Constitution gives eligibility for president. Obama qualifies.

Also Under the British Nationality Act 1948 Barack Hussein Obama, Jr, was born a British Subject since his father held a British Passport and was a Subject of the British Crown.

Superceded by the Kenya Constitution adopted in 1963. Under that, all who were considered colonial subjects became Kenyan citizens.

There would also appear to be evidence that his mother acquired Indonesian Nationality when she married his stepfather and that he did too.

For some unknown psychological reason, Barry Dunham Soetoro (Obama) decided when he was in school as Barry Soetoro that he wanted to be President of some Country. And for some reason, unbeknownst to anyone other than himself and possibly his mother, he or they decided that the easiest Country to manipulate for that end would be the United States. Barry Dunham Soetoro (Obama) could not be President of Indonesia or Kenya because his step-father was not a high official in the government of Indonesia and his birth-father had gone out of favor in Kenya due to his drunken behavior among other political events there. So the closest relative, Raila Odinga, the Marxist Kenyan, was given a million dollars to aid him in his quest for Presidency of Kenya. How that was or will affect Barry Soetoro (Obama) is unknown at present. And Barry Dunham Soetoro (Obama) wrote his books and manipulated his personal history in order for him not to have to answer the hard questions of his life. Where WAS he born? Is he a Natural Born US Citizen? Is he "black" enough or is he Too Much Arab? Has he fooled the public with his "I am a christian" fable?

Barry Dunham Soetoro (Obama) is a celeb in the mold of the celeb "Karen Johnson." And that's all he is. He is not Presidential, he's a wanna be. (Do you know who Karen Johnson, the celebrity is?)

You know Karen Johnson as Whoopie Goldberg.

Excellent post IMHO this could well be a smoking gun! Boma may be a tri citizen, Indonesian,U.S.and Kenyan. At the very least U.S. and Kenyan. In which case as I have read before he is eligible to run for the office of potus but not hold the office.

I still think that if we know what we do just imagine what the Clintons must have on him! They have the money, power, influence and wherewithal to basically destroy him. I wonder what is going on. On your query re Soetoro.

I never thought I would be a little paranoid- always a first time. I scramble for old reliable friend Wikipedia. Nothing to the point, then an entry caught my eye elsewhere. Alleging Wiki was absolutely silent on the naming of young Soetoro. Ok, so the jury is still out on Wiki.

It seems early on it was, of course, Barrack Obama Jr. Then Obama Sr left in a hurry. Along came Soetoro, when the lad Obama jr, was about six years old. Off they go to Indonesia. The lad became Barry Soetoro. He is said to be registered as a muslim student there.

Now off goes Soetoro Sr,and Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro is said to divorce him. I presume he(Presidential nominee). was known as Soetoro, his stepfathers name for over ten years. I do stand to be corrected here.

At about 18 years of age, young Soetoro, then changes his name to Barrack Obama.

As a naturalized citizen, I will never forget the words of the oath I took: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;

I don't know what this means to you, but to me it means that I gave up my Spanish citizenship the day I became an American.
