Dick Durbin actually claimed this morning on FNS that what Mark Foley did (send instant messages) was worse than Edwards actually commiting adultery. This takes the Dems’ ability to indulge in moral relativism to a new high (low?)

I would love to see that video. Sooooooo...our military behave like Nazis and Mark Foleys sin was greater than Edwardss. Those 2 utterances need to be juxaposed and repeated a thousand times for the public. I think they would disagree.

I don't know if there is a video (there may be), but here is the transcript:
WALLACE: The reason I ask is the revelation late in the 2006 campaign that Congressman — Republican Congressman Mark Foley had had relationships, involvement, with congressional pages seemed to be very damaging to the GOP in that election. What's the difference?

DURBIN: Oh, there's a big difference. I mean, exploiting children and infidelity in marriage — I think people would say both are wrong, but Mark Foley's situation with the pages involved a relationship which was just absolutely scandalous. These are young people coming to Washington who are really in our custody and care as members of Congress, and I think that was the quantum difference between the two.
Now, perhaps I am misremembering the Foley incident, but I thought the sum total of his provable sin was some aged instant messages.
