Clinton, Chirac blocked Karadzic’s arrest’

BELGRADE: Former US and French Presidents Bill Clinton and Jacques Chirac “personally” blocked plans to arrest the Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, wanted for a genocide trial over the past 13 years, a former official of the UN war crimes tribunal said in an interview published yesterday.

Florence Hartmann, a former spokeswoman of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) prosecutor, said in an interview with the daily Blic that “sometimes the arrest was blocked personally by Chirac, another time it was Clinton.”

Karadzic was arrested in July in Belgrade after 13 years on the run. ICTY accused him in 1995 of genocide and leveled other charges over his role in atrocities such as the massacre of 8,000 Muslims in Srebrenica during the 1992-95 Bosnian War. The former president of the Serb entity in Bosnia, Karadzic claims that he made a deal with the former US envoy, Richard Holbrooke, to withdraw from politics and fade away and so avoid arrest and trial.

During his run from justice, ICTY had “abundant” information which could have led to Karadzic’s arrest, Hartmann claimed. In her words, apart from France and the United States, Britain also blocked the arrest.

Hear hear! Clintoon told us repeatedly what terrible genocidal monsters Karadzic and the Serbs were. Now why did he protect him? Hypocrite, thug-lover or afraid the truth might come out? What is it Clinton?

BTW Clinton didn't anything to prevent the Rwandan Genocide, while Chirac, Villainpin and the French are now accused of taking part in the Genocide in Rwanda.

Slowly the bloody secrets of Clinton come out.

Bush should have thrown out all Clintonistas from Government in 2001.

Obviously the bent one was afraid the truth would come out.

He was afraid the truth would come out, of course. Same reason Milosovitch(?) was never convicted.

Was this before or after he had the chance to take Bin Laden into the custody of U.S. forces?

‘Toon was simply too skeered to do anything that took . . . well, you know.

For all his yipping about how “lucky” GWB was to have a defining challenge in 9/11, all Flubba did as President was run in the other direction whenever something that took fortitude and the ability to lead presented itself.

yesterday i bought the special edition of High Noon.
They interview this shifty, sleazy creep on the disc, not really sure why, but he of all people talks about courage and doing the right thing. The whole time i cursed the people who made the documentary and this will be the first time i write to a company and tell them how displeased i am with their product.
