Yes. If we allow Russia to overtake Georgia, they will have Europe by the balls. For that matter, why isn’t Europe more interested in this? Militarily I mean, not just chit chat with Russia. They will be owned by Russia if they allow this.
It’s largely because Europe is powerless militarilly, at least beyond what they’ve committed to in S. Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
