I hope McCain picks someone like Cantor or Coburn (though I think he is best left in the Senate. Thompson, though I had given up on his chances, would be a solid choice. Regardless McCain needs someone who will not be afraid of being demonized or afraid of what the press or liberals think of him. Leaders don’t spend their time responding they give their opponents something to respond to.

Even if McCain decided 2 months ago, it's best to keep the Obama camp guessing.

Hopefully, Obama will then make a choice that's dumb, really dumb, or really-really dumb. (Like "Father of the Year" Edwards or the governor who looks like Dilbert's boss.)
