What? You don’t think people are serious about the death penalty? Why, on California’s Death Row, execution is the third leading cause of death— behind suicide and old age.

If Texas put this on Pay-per-view they would make millions!

Great idea! Especially if it was ..."for the children" hehehehehehehe

In his eight years on Death Row, Dorsey has amassed nearly 100 infractions including an attack where he stabbed a guard 14 times with a hand-made shank. The guard was saved by his protective vest.

Yet another example, for those who need one, why execution is the only punishment for convicted murderers.

"If you kill someone in Texas, we will kill you back!"

That's our policy!

“Texas is one state still populated with men.”

Actually, a lot of women believe in capital punishment/death penalty. I feel like the victim doesn’t have a chance to come to life so why should the perpetrator walk the earth.

It’s been 14 years since the double murder.Pretty slow for Texas, but better late than never.

Dorsey was reportedly to have been called as a witness in the trial for one of the *Texas Seven* escapees, which delayed things a bit.

Finally. We lived in the Dallas area (DeSoto) when this happened and one of my sons worked at a fast food place (he was in HS) so this story really hit home. It’s a shame the families of the victims had to wait so long for justice.

Americans don’t have the stomach for it. If they were public I suspect we wouldn’t have ANY.

I think you are as wrong as can be. If executions were public again two things would happen. They would be done quicker after trial, and crime would be reduced as the ones who would do the crime would see what the end results could be. Kinda like a wake-up call! I think huge crowds would show up and become a social gathering for the public.
