Aafia Siddique Had a List of Targets in New York & Chem-Bio Weapons Information in her Possession
When she was arrested in Afghanistan last month, Aafia Siddique allegedly had in her possession maps of New York, a list of potential targets that included the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the subway system and the animal disease center on Plum Island, detailed chemical, biological and radiological weapon information that has been seen only in a handful of terrorist cases, as well as a thumb drive packed with emails, ABC News has learned.
That haul of information has led multiple government sources to describe Siddique, a 36 year-old MIT graduate, as a potential "treasure trove" of information on terrorist supporters, sympathizers or 'sleepers' in the United States and overseas.
"She is the most significant capture in five years," said former CIA officer John Kiriakou, who said she lives up to her reputation as an alleged terrorist 'Mata Hari.'

Mean lookin' witch.
Well, at the very least, we should be nice to her and then she’ll give us all the info we want.... NOT
No torture
No torture
No torture
Dang, the Beeb ,(BBC), ran a story about how she was a housewife, mistreated by the mean Americans. .
Thanks for posting this. I just watched the Ross report on the ABC evening news. Sounds like we could have some pretty serious information.
MIT will probably get her a real good lawyer....
Isn’t that the reporter for CNN? Her name was Koala Lemur or something....
bttt
Maybe we could put her up at Obamas house for a while....
Waterboarding isn’t torture, is it? I vote for that.
I wouldn’t cry much if they pulled her toenails off one at a time but I can be unusually cruel when I think about 9/11 and all that these animals have caused.
I thought this was a story of a talking goat...never mind.
In five years? Wow.
Chomsky has already volunteered to do a “lawyer Search”.
I’ve seen a similar symbol recently. Anyone know what it is?
Actually, the original Mata Hari may not have been much of a spy and certainly was not a terrorist, IIRC. The real Mata Hari executed by the French army in WWI was more of a courtesan who made the bad choice of sleeping with too many military officers. She may or may not have been conducting espionage, but I don't think much was ever proved.
This one, otoh, sounds like a real deal terrorist, but watch how the political left will embrace her as a misunderstood housewife with an Islamist bent.
WOW!
If you’re speaking of the symbol in the picture behind her, it’s the international symbol for “Biohazard”.
Thanks...Reminded me of the Obama symbol that we’ve been seeing.
ROTFLMAO!!
All I know is that this mean, disgusting, war criminal nation better not have violated her civil rights to get her or the jury is just going to have to acquit. We have to respect her rights at all costs.
I do not .... anyone else?
Waterboard the bitch.
As I recall, German Intelligence, both during, and after WWI flat out stated that Mata Hari had never given them anything of any significance. While she had passed data to the Germans, none of it was of any practical value to them, so as a spy, she was strictly an amateur...

Absolutely ... deadly.
I bet the interrogators are getting
some really really good, creative
questioning in.
And the NOW gang is probably mounting
their drive for her legal defense fund.

Who’s Afraid of Aafia Siddiqui?
She went to MIT and Brandeis, married a Brigham and Women’s physician, made her home in Boston, cared for her children, and raised money for charities. Aafia Siddiqui was a normal woman living a normal American life. Until the FBI called her a terror
The men were ready. They knew the woman who would be joining them for the week was a high-profile Al Qaeda operative. They’d been told she should be treated with the utmost respect.
She would arrive in Liberia’s bustling capital, Monrovia, on a plane from Quetta, Pakistan. She was to be driven to the safe house, the Hotel Boulevard, where other Al Qaeda figures had stayed, and taken good care of until the deal was done.
The trip from the airport was a hot hour long, and the woman spoke in English to the driver on the way. The driver, who would later become the chief informant in a United Nations-led investigation, described her as a quiet Islamic woman who wore a traditional headscarf and kept mostly to herself.
She spent the week holed up in her room, making trips into town for small errands.
About a week after her arrival, the woman left Monrovia as quietly as she had entered, but now she had what she had come for: a large parcel containing gems from Africa’s illegal diamond trade.
They would be used as a convenient, hard-to-trace way of funding Al Qaeda’s global terror operations. It was mid-June 2001, three months before September 11.

Freeper GWMcClintock has it correctly. It's the internationally recognized symbol for a biohazard. Folks have seen it largely from the advertising for the movies "28 Days", and "28 Days Later", as it was prominent in the advertisements.

How can we get info out of her? She now has immediate access to a lawyer, doesn’t she?
at least I got it - very funny
See?? They have only one goal in mind - obliterate New York.
Hang her high!
By the time of Siddique's capture last month, she had become something of a cause celebre among some human rights activists who believe she was "disappeared" five years ago by the Pakistani government, perhaps at the request of the United States.
At a federal court hearing in Manhattan on Monday, the number of supporters who showed up required the US Marshals to move the Magistrate's Court proceeding to a larger courtroom and also open an overflow courtroom where spectators could listen to and watch the proceedings on closed circuit TV.
I bet we put her muzzie ass through MIT
Thank you very much. I’m wiser for it!!
Have either the ISI-Pakistani Intelligence or the Mossad-(Israeli Intelligence) conduct an attitude adjustment session with this bruja. I wonder who would be tougher the ISI or the Mossad?/Just Asking - seoul62.......
Aafia Siddiqui was born in Pakistan in March 1972. She came to the United States, and attended colleges in the Boston, Massachusetts area. As a sophomore at MIT in 1992, Siddiqui received a Carroll L. Wilson Award for her research proposal, "Islamization in Pakistan and its Effects on Women." As a junior, Siddiqui received a $1,200 fellowship through MIT's LINKS program to help clean up Cambridge elementary school playgrounds. During her undergraduate career, she lived in McCormick Hall and worked at the MIT libraries. She graduated from MIT in 1995.
In 1996, a year after she graduated, she wrote an article for the MIT Information Systems newsletter about how to download computer programs using the File Transfer Protocol and the then-emerging World Wide Web.
She subsequently went on to graduate study in neuroscience at Brandeis University receiving the Ph.D. degree in 2001 for her dissertation, entitled "Separating the Components of Imitation." In 1999, while living in Boston, she and Khan founded the nonprofit Institute of Islamic Research and Teaching

Interesting that she should get her Ph.D. from Brandeis, which is a historically Jewish college.
The ACLU (Allah-Civil-Liberties-Union) is right there with their phalanxes of attorneys, I’m sure.
...but not before you squeeze every last bit of intel out of her - and don't be stingy with the psychotropic drugs...
I guess the only way to find out is to do it. Personally, I think she would look just grand in such a position.
I’d go with the Mossad.
How fast do you think she will talk?/Just Asking - seoul62......
Amen!
It is possible that she had been captured by the Pakistani government 5 years ago and gave up all of this intel and has been cooperating with us ever since. Maybe someone spotted her last month and they had to stage a second capture to protect her cover. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, as she probably wants to disappear from al Qaeda’s reach, but the media and liberals are going to be keeping her viable.
Keep her in Afghanistan and let them interrogate her.
I bet they’ll have no problem putting panties on her head!
Have you seen her picture? How can you be sure it's not?
She’s was trying REAL hard to give it all up for al qaeda, for sure!
“Ms. Siddiqui, 36, disappeared with her three children while visiting her parents home in Karachi, Pakistan, in March 2003, leading human rights groups and her family to believe she had been secretly detained.
But in interviews Monday and in a criminal complaint made public later Monday, American officials said they had no knowledge of Ms. Siddiquis location for the past five years until July 17, when Ms. Siddiqui and a teenage boy were detained in Ghazni, Afghanistan, after local authorities became suspicious of their loitering outside the provincial governors compound.
When they searched Ms. Siddiquis handbag, the Afghan police found documents describing the creation of explosives as well as excerpts from the Anarchists Arsenal. She also carried sealed bottles and glass jars filled with liquids and gels.
The day after she was detained, an American team, including two F.B.I. agents, two American soldiers and interpreters, went to the police station to talk to her. The F.B.I. has wanted her for questioning since May 2004, a Justice Department spokesman said.
The complaint gave the following account of what happened next.
Americans entered a room in the police station, unaware that Ms. Siddiqui was being held there, unsecured, behind a curtain.
One of the soldiers, a warrant officer, sat down and placed his M-4 rifle on the floor next to the curtain.
Shortly after the meeting began, the other soldier, a captain, heard a woman yelling from the curtain. He turned to see Ms. Siddiqui pointing the warrant officers rifle at him.
The interpreter sitting closest to Ms. Siddiqui lunged at her and pushed the rifle away as she pulled the trigger and shouted, God is Great. She fired at least two shots, but no one was hit. The warrant officer returned fire with his 9mm pistol, hitting Ms. Siddiqui at least once in the torso.
Ms. Siddiqui struggled when officers tried to subdue her, shouting in English that she wanted to kill Americans. After she was subdued, the complaint said, she temporarily lost consciousness.
Ms. Siddiqui was charged Monday with one count of trying to kill American officers and employees and one count of assaulting them, the Justice Department said. If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each count.
The wild scene in the police station is the latest chapter in one of the strangest episodes in the American campaign against terrorism.

That officer was plain dumb.
