I think at this point, the news is the misappropriation of campaign funds and the investigation into that. It needs to happen. When a candidate can give his mistress campaign funds to have quickie’s available, he needs to be investigated.
Were Mr. Edwards a Republican you could bet the farm some prosecutor or senate committee would be investigating further.
Mr. Edwards seriously doesn’t want this to go to court where he has to be honest or face real jail time.
Also for what it is worth I just a day or so ago read a story where it made plain the Edwards played fast and loose all along with his charities and campaigns.
