Don't laugh! They have done just that where we live. If you weld or machine anything on your property you are in violation of town ordinances. Ever try to live in a rural farming area and not weld or machine anything during any given week either for yourself or a neighbor?

They have a county undercover rat who drives around and pulls up in your drive and asks you if you'll fix his axle, shaft, or frame of whatever he's got in his truck-bed? If you say "sure, just pull it over here" , you're busted.
