It is a Dragonov sniper rifle. The reason it looks strange is the sling.

thats just a rifle with the sling over the front sight guard.

The magazine on those was always a dead giveaway during OPFOR weapons ID tests.

It’s just SVD/Dragonuv type rifle with the sling pulled tight against the side, makes it look wierd.
