The headline is misleading, it sounds like “Republicans” are THREATENING TO (”Threaten”) Renew The (”Renewal of”) “Offshore Drilling Bans”.
In actuality, the Offshore Drilling Bans are EXPIRING and Democrats may not have enough votes to push them through AGAIN.
From what I’ve read, it’s not a matter of letting the ban expire, but providing funding to grant the land leases. Is this correct?
