Do they realize that Von Dutch was a drunken bigot pinstriper?

A mad outsider artist?

one liberal sissy who wasn’t even born in America

Jackson Browne was born in U.S.-occupied post-WWII Germany, where his father was a civilian employee of the U.S. occupation government. That's one thing I wouldn't hold against him.

>>Assuming McCain’s campaign went through the appropriate licensing channels, I don’t see what Jackson’s got to complain about.<<

IIRC, the lead singer was not happy about Rush Limbaugh using her song for his show, but I don’t think she has a say in it.

I dunno how licensing works though. If the McCain camp did violate some sort of rule/law, it is run by idiots, but I suspect this is a publicity stunt by Browne.

Nothing is EVER in the public domain. Maybe some ancient gregorian chant that nobody knows who wrote. That’s about it.

I love rock, but I’m no “team Browne”.

Jackson Browne is one of my favorite song writers of all time, but he has zero common sense.

If you choose to beat this girl up and screw up that relationship, it shows that you cannot handle energy policy or debate economics either.

"In light of Jackson Browne's lifelong commitment to Democratic ideals

...and, apparently, beating up women.

Now I have to step in. Anyone growing up in the 70’s knows Browne. He was an icon and every girl had a crush on him. Untik,of course, he opened his mouth. I saw him in concert many timesd in the day. Just because you never heard og him does not make him irrelevant.

His first three albums were masterpieces especially "Late for the Sky"
I didn't like much of what he did afterwards

Browne is a big peace loving Dem folksinger, until he goes home and beats his (now ex) wife.

Well he did have good taste in women and cars. The '54 Chevy on the Late for the Sky album is identical to the one I bought for $300.00 in 1969. Loved that car.

That and Dan Fogelberg's NETHER LANDS were worn out on my record players. If you were teenager girl in the 1970's, they were it. We didn't need all this dancing crap...We were in it for the music...
