I never heard of this joker. I guess he's some kind of icon because his career spanned some 30 years. He must really be a hotshot. Ask the next hundred people you meet if they know who he is.

I'll bet the big crowds and big bucks aren't there for him any more....that's when the over-the-hill liberal big-mouth entertainers usually start lashing out at something or other related to politics.

Now I have to step in. Anyone growing up in the 70’s knows Browne. He was an icon and every girl had a crush on him. Untik,of course, he opened his mouth. I saw him in concert many timesd in the day. Just because you never heard og him does not make him irrelevant. I hope McCain did thing legally correct. If I wrote songs and one of my signature songs was being used by a political nemesis I would be angry as well,

His music is inescapable on golden-oldies stations, but the odder monument he has is that Gerry Trudeau based his character Jimmy Thudpucker on him. Seriously.
