How The Democrats Can Blow It ...In Six Easy Steps
Rolling Stone ^ | August 21, 2008 | Michael Moore

Posted on 08/17/2008 4:08:42 PM PDT by Baladas

For years now, nearly every poll has shown that the American people are right in sync with the platform of the Democratic Party. They are pro-environment, pro-women's rights and pro-choice. They don't like war. They want the minimum wage raised, and they want a single-payer universal health-care system. The American public agrees with the Republican Party on only one major issue: They support the death penalty.

So you would think the Democrats would be cleaning up, election after election. Obviously not. The Democrats appear to be professional losers. They are so pathetic in their ability to win elections, they even lose when they win! So when you hear Democrats and liberals and supporters of Barack Obama say they are worried that John McCain has a good chance of winning, they ain't a-kidding. Who would know better than the very people who have handed the Republicans one election after another on a silver platter? Yes, be afraid, be very afraid.

Well, I think Fatty's dead wrong here - the current Democrat Party is far to the left of the "American people", and I still wish he'd swim or waddle back to Cuba, where he belongs, but I do have a seventh step: nominated Barack Hussein Obama.

This is a bit off-topic, but do you notice that when a conservative like Jerry Corsi writes a book, there’s footnotes and sources galore, but when a lib writes a book, there’s usually no footnotes or sources listed?

It’s because their books are all about their feeeeeeeelings.

Oh, and I got this issue in the mail yesterday. Thank God it's the last issue and my subscription will not be renewed.

Rolling Stone is going to size down its format too. It's going to be the size of People magazine in the coming weeks/months.

That sounds like a great idea to people who have gotten used to its oversized format over the past 40 years.

NOT.

This guy is stupid. The American people have never been aligned with the liberal Democrat platform. That is a myth. This is a center-right nation. Being pro-environment does not mean ones wants to sacrifice jobs and comfort for hair brained liberal carbon taxes. It doesn’t mean they want their daughters whisked off to abortion clinics without their consent or our soldiers brought home to defeat for the sake of one parties political power. Liberals always make this mistake and this is why they seldom win the Presidency. It took an Arkansas good ole boy liberal to win the last time and the same can be said for Carter.

They just don’t get it. Most Americans don’t look to Europe with starry eyes and look down on themselves as being not cultured enough. They don’t look at killing the unborn as liberating. They don’t look to sacrifice their hard earned money on government pie in the sky non solutions.

Moore needs to realize that lefties like him that are the new base of the Democratic Party are the main reason they are losing elections. Liberals see the vast majority of Americans as rubes clinging bitterly to their guns and religion and in need of the elites to make every decision for them. Fortunately the American people are growing sick of liberal patronizing.

Rolling Stone is so far to the left that even my college age children are beginning to snicker at their total blantant attacks on anything conservative.

Two, round boy. They like guns as well. Too bad about your Columbine flick. Oh, three. They don't like foreigners flying aircraft into their buildings. Well, maybe four - they don't like self-serving propagandists who can only keep the pizza out of their mouths long enough to slam their own country. Do I hear "five"?

I love the last item:

8. Denounce Me

Oh that made it sweet. It is always about Me in when dealing with liberals— isnt it?

Michael Moore just cannot let an article on general strategy fail to focus on the nation’s truest priority— Him.

That’s why Kerry lost— just ask Michael Moore.

Moore swam out to the center of the cesspool and therefore thinks he's "mainstream."

I remember poor John Kerry not even being able to admit, when asked by Larry King, if he had seen Fahrenheit 9/11. "No," he said, "I haven't. . . . I don't plan to, right now." But he had indeed seen it. I sat there watching him say this, and I just felt sorry for him and for the election he was about to lose.

Another interesting tidbit.

Yup, he outed Kerry (who served in Viet Nam) as a common liar.

The first step, I believe, is letting an anti-American movie maker to inject his radical-left view on the political scene. It keeps reminding them of how scary it is the Dims are.
