Penn and Teller kind of get it. Penn keeps saying that nobody wants war. They apparently missed the memo on jihad, islamism, etc.

I like a lot of what Penn and Teller do - it’s just unfortunate when they misapply this approach and template to anyone with a belief in God.

Whenever “Penn & Teller”, show comes up in one of these threads, someone always warns potential viewers that there is some content that will be offensive to some. I have even given that warning myself, and will do it again:

WARNING!: “Penn & Teller's Bullsh!t” contains the worst of adult language, especially the “F” word, which Penn uses on a regular basis. Also, they usually find ways to work in nudity, including male nudity (this last show, Penn buttered Teller's naked butt.) And, Penn is a libertarian, and an atheist.

That being said, the shows can be informative and funny, if one overlooks the aforementioned warning...

Penn uses salty language? No way!

With the show having a title like "Bullsh!t", any freeper who watches and assumes they'll be getting G-rated fare probably doesn't have the IQ required to understand the series anyway.

I’m curious how DU and Kos react to this kind of show, delivered in their own native tongue by people who they would logically assume to be on their side. When even profane, hip, comic magicians think key elements of the Democrat base are Fruit Loops, you’ve got some serious remedial work to do. ;)

True, true. I just hope that any curious folks with children, are prepared.

BTW- I wonder if their viewer ship is up this season. They seem to have returned more this year, to attacking left wing nonsense, more than they did last year. I know I slacked of on watching last year, but I have really been getting a kick out of this season. Maybe I need to get in touch with my inner dolphin?
