Fox News had a clip of Gen. Petraeus on today, saying that while the situation is vastly improved, he’s not going to endanger it by prematurely announcing any recommendations for troop drawdowns. Good thinking. I trust Gen. Petraeus a WHOLE LOT, and am glad McCain named him first as one of those he’d consult with in the White House.
