It’s pretty hard to find a “non-career” woman with above average intelligence today. People consider it almost a sin for a girl to be family orientated. At least here in the PRNYC.

Most men don’t want to marry young and women don’t want to wait for them.

Only if you have a bias against traditional values. There are lots of places to look church, family friends, personal friends, at work.

Ever hear the phrase, "I can't find a good man, they're all married"?

The smart guys find the right girl and settle down. The perpetual adolescents are never ready to grow up and become adults.

30 years ago, when I was a teenager, there was an old adage, that if you want to find a traditional gal to marry, go the Midwest.

It's still true today.

Get a one-year posting from your employer in some part of flyover country, or get an agreement take a sabbatical (so you have a job when you come back). I know that New Yorkers find Kansas City, Cincinnati, Des Moines, and Peoria to sound awfully boring, but you will have a wonderful time as long as you don't act like an arrogant New Yorker (I don't say that accusingly) and you will meet some awfully nice, traditional ladies.

Spoken by someone raised in Los Angeles, who married a Kansas City gal 21 years ago. I'm still in love, she's still gorgeous, she's still a doll, and we have three wonderful children.
