I just drove back to Texas from the Ozarks this morning. And it is unseasonaly cool there and here, more like late October than the end of August. Even the plants and critters are reacting to the weather. ‘Snow on the mountain’ is blooming early and the walking sticks are out and about early. It’s just my observation but others were talking about it too.
There are a few trees here in Fort Wayne, mostly very small ones, that are changing their color already.
