Regardless of how anybody feels about abortion, Ridge already took a bullet to his public career when he accepted the Homeland Security job.
I think any votes you pick up in PA with Ridge would easily be negated by votes lost in pro-life and libertarian voters.

PA is trending toward the Democrats as industry has left & the young with them. We're the biggest Nursing Home in the lower-48 except for Florida.
