Toby Keith: Obama's 'Best Democratic Candidate We've Had Since Bill Clinton' Toby Keith Praises Obama Tuesday, August 19, 2008 By Ryan Pearson, Associated Press

Los Angeles - Barack Obama is getting praise from Nashville, courtesy of one big, patriotic country star.

Toby Keith, perhaps best known to non-country audiences for his post-Sept. 11 song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," says he's a Democrat, and was impressed by the senator from Illinois.

Is he looking for the Dixie Chick of the Year award or what?

“If you’re listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you’re a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we’re morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal.” - Alice Cooper

He couldn’t possibly have meant a word in that song - or there’s no way he could still be a democrat - or support Obama. He must have just been doing it for the money. He has probably sung that song a thousand times or more, and apparently, the words have never sunk in.

Listen to most of his goofy-ass, childish songs.

There's no surprise here.

Bwahahahahaha

Next thing I expect to hear is that Toby is a butt ranger, his favorite movie is Brokeback Mountain, and he has a crush on Barney Frank.

I doubt Obama would “put a boot in your a$$” to the the muslim terrorists or see it as the “American-Way”.
More likley they would have put a thumb in their a$$, its the Liberals way. I thank the Lord that we had W in office when 911 happened, Algore and the liberals would not have taken any action except maybe push for more gun control and beg Obama Bin Laden for forgiveness for causing him to attack us.

Toby gone the way of the Dixie Chicks...bye now Toby

No, Toby's entitled to his opinion - even if we think it's wrong. The Dixie Chicks dissed our country and the President while abroad in a time of war. Toby stated his opinion to an American newspaper.

Toby has said he comes from working class Democrats. Superficially, BHO is appealing. Looks like Toby has not dug deeper to find - nothing is there with BHO.

Apparently Toby has decided that he wants the respect of the Hollywood crowd more than the Nashville crowd. Grown too big for his britches, I suppose.

His loss.

It’s a real shame, because I so love that song, and I would burst with pride whenever I saw the video of him singing it in front of the troops.

Toby Keith is so funny because I was noticing how he sure liked to put up an image, but when you got down to it there were signs he cannot put up with pressure and seems to want to run with the crowd. He has clearly shown what a fraud he was making all those millions. Anyone voicing praise for Obama shows where they really stand and Toby belongs there.

“Best candidate since Bill Clinton”

Talk about being damned by faint praise.

Et tu Toby? No, I still have a hard time believing this. In fact, no where does he say he’s supporting Obama... just that Obama’s the best Democrat since... and that ain’t saying much. I suspect he’s trying to walk the line here. But being a lifelong Democrat if he is supporting Obama, he’s probably listening too much to his union buddies at the Ford plant.

There were signs when he was ‘fighting’ with the Dixie Chicks that he was a wimp and couldn’t take it and wanted to run with that crowd. He’s had his gimmick that made him his millions. Big fraud just as all Demonrats are.

Toby....Toby.....I loved the concert, your music is entertaining, but the Dixie Chicks Movie critic got it right; you’re a “ten-gallon retard”.

I can honestly say this floored me! If you had told me the moon was made of cheese, I'd be less shocked.

Oh, well, I'll always have this http://www.americancarolers.com/.
