How patriotic that we allow an idiot of this magnitude the freedom to convey his lunacy in print! In many less patriotic countries, enemies of the country such as he is would be locked up and never heard from again.
If a white conservative wrote a piece blasting veterans, blacks, inner city hoodies, Vermonters like that he would not only be fired but be offered up to the gods of the left for a public lynching. Greely should be fired for this piece of hatred.
As a kid living in Atlanta, I went to baseball games in Ponce de Leon Park, home of the Atlanta Crackers AAA farm team of the Braves. Years before there was a champion Atlanta Black Crackers team in the Negro League.
Atlanta is a transportation hub situated at the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains. Too hard to get a train over the mountains so they came around to Terminus which became Marthesville which became Atlanta. The trains drew a lot of wagon traffic for loading and offloading.
Cracker refers to the mule skinners cracking thier whips. Pretty synonymous with Teamster. So when some idiot calls me a cracker I say thank you and proud of it.

And before anybody gets in an uproar, I do not consider him a “priest in good standing. Not with his views on the papacy, celibacy, contraception and dogma.

Yeah, that’s right. Why not try it some time. Try singing “God Bless America” FERVENTLY. Try meaning what you sing. You might find yourself strangely moved.
