Yeah, that was nice. Must’ve driven NBC crazy.
Because it was live and not edited... I saw it, too.
That was so awesome along with May’s comment about needing to “make the team of the future”.
LOL
Congrats girls... and their husbands!
That’s going to make the DUmmies heads explode. I saw it too, wonder if Bob Costas or any of the lefties on NBC will mention it.
The presidential pat on the tush did it, eh?
You don’t suppose those lovely and athletic ladies are . . . GASP . . . REPUBLICANS?????
(I married a Division I volleyball player . . . who’s a Republican, so they’re out there!)
That was great, Pres Bush is probably crying!
Congrats to Kerri and Misty!
First Kobe Bryant and now this. These athletes are really starting to earn my respect again. I love it when Americans act like Americans. Isn’t President Bush “McCain’s president?”
Now watch her get savaged in the left wing kook blogosphere.
The nags at NOW must be so ticked.
I don’t think President Bush should have honored the Chinese Communist government that sells us lead toys, but good to hear some of the athletes have some class.
Forget Sarah Palin. Kerri Walsh for vice-president!!! Think of the inauguration bikini, errrr, gown.
Oh drats, the Constitution’s dang pesky age requirement ruins another great idea.
Saw it, I knew I liked those girls for more than the way they filled out those swim suits, oh yeah, also the way that they play the game.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Saw it! Loved it!
That makes One Hundred and Nine (109) games Misty and Kerri have won without a loss.
Awesome. Also, Debbie Phelps talking about how emotional she was to see her son, Michael Phelps, race. She said it was so amazing to see the President and his family there cheering on Michael, and waving to him.
I know that kind of talk drives every wacked out leftie crazy.
Loves it!!
Michael Phelps has also talked about his conversation with President Bush, after he won his 8th medal.
Phelps: "I just got a call...and was on the phone with President Bush. So uh...it was pretty cool...uh...he actually told me to give my mother a hug and say it was from the president. So, that was pretty cool and we just talked for about five minutes...I actually met him after the 400IM and he came down onto the pool deck and we got to take some pictures so it was pretty cool."
